For or From His Heart

Are we chasing for His heart, or are we coming from His heart?

We humans are so limited in our nature.

Truly, it takes great conviction to be clear.

If we chase for his heart, does it mean we are self directed?

If we come from His heart, have we lost our own heartbeat?

As I've learnt from my book, "Gently and Lowly" which I just finished, what we seek is alignment of our hearts with His. The book offers me constant reminders of his great mercy and love. It is for people like me, that are hurting. That are brought up in a meritocratic world that we need to forget. That in all the perfection, power and glory we know of God, much of that is facing to the depths of where we reside at.

And this was always the case, and shall always be the case.

I've seen many Christians and churches in my life now. I wish I found this earlier, but perhaps this is my season of heart change.
