Life stages by the Bible.
Genesis: The Infancy Stage – Foundational birth, introduction to life, and the initial bond with the Creator (parent).
Exodus / Leviticus: The Rule-Setting Stage – Learning the "law," essential boundaries, and the right way to live within a family/community.
Numbers / Deuteronomy: The Preparation Stage – Forging identity through legacy and preparing to step into independence.
Historical Books: The Adolescent Stage – The messy cycles of success, failure, and learning through lived experience.
Poetic & Philosophy Books: The Young Adult Stage – Expressing creativity, navigating complex emotions like love and suffering, and seeking deeper wisdom.
Prophetic Books: The Accountability Stage – The "conscience" that warns us when we drift and points us back to our true purpose.
The Gospels: The Spiritual Rebirth – A transformative awakening that introduces grace and redefines everything previously learned.
The Epistles (Paul’s Writings): The Mature Adult Stage – Living out values in the real world, contributing to the community, and mentoring others.
Revelation: The Eternal Perspective – Contemplating the end of earthly life and the "unveiling" of what lies beyond.
There's a lot to learn from the bible about humanity that mimics our life stages growing up... Maturing... Reaching our earthly end..
An interesting parallel to guide us in life.
Intentional? I wonder.
